...My daughter did Lial's Introductory Algebra, just finished Intermediate Algebra, and today I just received Lial's Precalculus course for next year.
Lial explains things *very* clearly and she had no trouble with either Algebras. I just wish we had known about Basic College Math to have been able to do that before the algebras.
The precalc course also looks very good. I got the DVT's for Intermediate Algebra (which she never used), and also for the Precalculus (since that is beyond my abilities). Keep in mind that math is not her favorite subject, but I feel that she does so well because of the clear explanations and detailed exercises.
