Latin Road to English Grammar was recommended in the initial version of WTM. I used it with a middle/high co-op group. I know there have been several negative reviews about the methods used versus the learning styles of the students but for my group, this was a fantastic product. There was a great deal of writing involved in the exercises and translations, but I think it was very valuable work - I actually did the student work the first year and enjoyed it.
All of the kids were a bit weak in English grammar before we started - they had varied backgrounds in grammar (Shirley, public school, Rod & Staff, no formal study, etc.), but after the first year they were much more solid on their understand of the english and latin language structure.
The co-op did not continue, but my kids and a couple of other students contined in year 2 of Latin Road on an independent basis with email support.
Only 2 students continued on to year 3. One student took the Latin Exam and then went on to take Spanish and the other is taking Italian at the community college. Both students have been very enthusiastic that their Latin work is paying off in their current studies.
