[ High School and Self-Education Board ]

We are just beginning the Great Books. Are there any homeschool blogs that focus on reading the great books with high schoolers? Any other resources that would help me? I am a little intimidated and unsure about all of this. We are reading Agamemnon and it's so violent. Is this really a positive influence on young minds? Why? How do the Great Books help? I am drawn to wanting to read them as I never did, but I need some help. Can you recommend any curriculum to help or on-line resources? Thanks for your support.
